I didn't like the look of david when we played Lille. He is also more of a central striker so if we got him i presume it would be to send nunez on his way. Aina is a bit old tbh. he will be 29 later this year. thats a real stop gapper. Tah is also 29 now so will be 30 next season. Again doesn't fit the profile. Just my opinion/
Aina might be a stop gap but would mean we would have money for a LB as well . David could play from the flank based on what i've seen . Tah wasn't in the top 2
I believe in fullness of answer. You know this. We have to find players just about to become top top players not people who are at a level.
first and foremost we need to find players who fit the managers system then players exceed the personal level
Well yes, but they also have to have the scope to step up moneyball style. My view on this is they shoudl look a bargain after a short enough time.
