I’ve seen szobo sprint about 4 times to close down Leno… but as soon as Fulham midfielder gets it in midfield look like can’t run to get close to them.
Fulham are literally defending the half way linens a back 4. There's acres behind them and not one single solitary ball over the top. Kicking it backwards, falling over it rather than simple control, zero intent. At least go knock it over them and maybe convince them to step back
There is zero patterns to our play. I know it’s a slower tempo but all that’s happening is defence getting it and whacking it long hoping to win a 2nd ball and play from there. No bravery to get the ball and pass and move.
Who is going to get there? Salah isn’t out pacing Robinson and Jota isn’t doing Basey. Gakpo might about stand a chance but he’s never running in behind in his career, not his style.

At least it would try and get them going the other way. They are able to compress the play to half the park and laugh at us as we make slow play and hapless passes. At least give them something to think about and make put out for a throw so we can advsnce up the park ourselves.
Really fed up with these first half performances of late, why should it take a bollocking at HT to switch on?
It certainly looks bad, but if we get an early goal in the second half anything is possible. I do agree though... Odds are against us
I thought we would get done on counters. We have a) let every cross in just about. Robertson ambled out to that first goal. B) been arrogant so and sos like konate and Robertson and vvd on all 3 goals. C) been incompetent defender ike jones on first goal and konate backing miles off and letting people have shots I want to see subs to put manners on there players. Gravenberch is done. Salah is done. Konate is so bad I would not pick him again this season u til I see a big reaction in training. Elliott, endo and quansah however will not be sent on will they?
Been very anonymous today... But when you're two goals down you kind of hope he'll suddenly wake up and be what you need I do think Gakpo was better than Salah pre substitutions though.
