And something Klopp would be better at; motivating the fringe players, telling them how good they are and how important to the team.

It could’ve gone either way, which in itself is a new dimension these days, teams like Villa couldn’t give a **** about a 2-2, they want to win too.

I do wonder how integrated the squad is.

Slot obviously has is preferred first 11, with jones floating about as a stand in.

But you've got nunez, elliot, quansah, Bradley plus the youth who've now all been sold or loaned out that seem to be complete after thoughts, called on only in dire circumstances. All that trust and good feeling that they are all part together has gone

Everyone one of those midfielders looked absolutely goosed, little Harvey sat on the bench, enjoying his packed lunch, watching on again

And if Arsenal don’t beat West Ham before we play City? We have an 8pt lead at the moment. We didn’t expect to be in this position at the start of the season and it’s showing that we need to invest in more players. And that’s irrelevant to what happens with Mo, Virgil and Trent.

Slot isn’t immune from criticism either

We need some calm heads on the pitch, they're feeling the pressure...like some posters on here

I do feel we need to use the squad more. Endo, Elliot and Chiesa need to be used more. Definitely missing Gakpo at the moment.

It is a draw away from home and not a loss.

    Again took a lead

    Again sat back on it

    Again couldn't defend it.

We need to just stsrt being more positive.

I'd take another point off city right now.

The Sky Sports highlights of this match are dreadful. They show nothing after the Nunez miss.

I'm unsure it's got anything to do with pressure and more to do with how many minutes they've played without respite

Well Virgil is calmness personified and Trent is getting more laid back by the day (brilliant goal btw). Captain and Vice Captain who've both been there, done that and got the trophies. I think you're onto something but it isn't calmness that's missing imo, it's concentration.

Imo we are playing 3 good sides in a row and on any given day a draw away to a good side is decent.

I made a point in thread yesterday during the game. The second we scored we retreated back deep. The problem we have is salah at rw doesn't work any more if we do thst.

Their goals game from macallister out wide right getting megged by rashford and then a 3 on 1 overload thst trent decided to follow a run to tje middle and leave the crosser free.

If we really feel the need to fall back then do it right. 442 with 2 clear banks of 4 thst doesn't include salah.

Otherwise hold tjr ball and get up the park and brave the concession of a breakaway goal.

Typical media twisting VVDs words, but as soon as Szoboszlai crossed instead of shooting, I screamed "No" because I knew what was going to happen even before it happened.

One point is better than none, we are still in contention for the title.

The cross was the better option but unfortunately I wouldn't of backed Nunez or Jota putting that in on current form.

For a moment I thought Mo had missed his as he got underneath it. Good job he wasn't any further out.
