How much is a box of half a lamb these days remote? Last time I bought a box, which must be about 12 years ago now I paid £85.

    Wow.
We do half a lamb for £80.
Put it up this year from £75.
Its pretty much the going rate.
We send our lambs off at 40-42kg which kill out just under half that, so on the bone a box weighs 9-10kg.

Its away from football as the objectionable little fat twat Hooper is reffing the Spurs v Leicester game. How? Why?

Disallowed a goal by Sanchez. Have no idea why. As usual for him, very poor or lack of decision making.

mad there was no work today for the queen’s funeral I decided to spend the day in my caravan watching royal tv and birdwatching from my dining area and I’ve been treated to some fabulous visitors (the flying kind)

No. A twitcher is someone that "collects" bird sightings. Many will travel huge distances if they hear of the presence of a rare species.
    Well, you did ask.

beginning to show my age now as I have always been an animal lover but never one for ornithology
today I saw my first greater spotted woodpecker and it was eating one yard from where I was eating my lunch and the pied wagtail just capped the day off

Don't forget the Long Tailed Tits in your last picture.
I bet the emu wreaked havoc on the feeders <laugh>
You talk about getting a life while many (me included) can't think of a much better one.
