……fking old farts fking up the world init Nazi tight arsed fkrs ……anyway….just saying that we are missing out on money because of short sightedness……loads of kids wearing kits around the world not based on if they support the club but purely on the basis that’s it’s fking lovely……..anyways the way it’s going I be shocked if we got a club still there in ten years……if it was a horse we would put it out of its misery
I'd prefer steady light rain. It seems to soak in better than heavy downpours. Either way, its very welcome. Its cooler and cloudy, so it wont all evaporate in 5 mins either. The only downside will be all the sh!t that will be dumped in rivers by water companies, as 'water from storm drains caused treatment plants to become overwhelmed'. Stock answer, even after a light shower.
I fully understand that people aren't necessarily governed by their support of a team when buying such things. Let's face it, the New York Yankees et al have made it the key element of their business strategies. However, the success of this was made possible by having a globally accepted product(s) to start with. People don't just buy a cap purely because it says NYY on it. In fact, I suspect the vast majority worldwide don't even understand the basics of baseball. Even so, the Yankees were only able to fund their commodities as a result of the selling if baseball in general to the home market which if course is huge. From there on in, they jumped on the shirt tails of the popularisation of all things American post WW2. Unfortunately, we don't have that sort of captive audience to get the ball rolling. So I'm guessing that you think the club should diversify into fashion as well. That's a perfectly valid point if view if there are funds to start it. Anyway, I look forward to hearing how wrong I am.
Never mind eh? The water companies say they are going to atone for their years of neglect and high profits but water rates will have to go up to fund it.
just look at what the kids are wearing dude…says lots about how the younger generations work…or are you saying selling shirts isn’t a money making item and we should just put up with the lack of vision by so called professionals who are getting paid for their ideas dishing out stuff not even a Cardiff fan wants to buy
No dude, I'm not saying that at all. Can't see where I even suggested it. Quite the contrary in fact if you look carefully.
Until they start dumping again for another price rise…….fking games we play ffs init….basic clean air clean water and clean foods are not good for big pharmaceutical profits init
fashion what like what everyone got apart from us……..not sure it take lots of investment to up our game and make stuff buyable tbf seems we are behind the times if you ask me
You'll get no argument from me about us being behind the times. It's reflected in the way we are set up as a football club and consequently impacts on the football and commercial aspects.
Take a look at our rivals website compared to ours……it’s clean clear and everything looks professional then look at ours and say we got the right people working for us init…half arsed and unloved
I fully concur and would refer you to my last post. My opinion about our lack lustre and incompetent ownership and boardroom has been made clear on numerous, whining posts that I've made in the past.
was talking to Isaac Davies father other day and he was embarrassed of how well the Swansea youth system was over ours……hurt him too say it because he’s a passionate bluebird but truth is truth and I could only agree from what I’ve seen happen over the last ten years at least no shock the double double has been done lately tbh
Anyway, back on topic. I live close to some woodland and over the years I've grown accustomed to being woken up by Tawny Owls during the dead of night. Alarmingly, I've not heard one for over a year. Don't know the psychology behind it it, but I still wake up expecting to hear them. It's worrying how many birds are now on the Red list. Who would have thought that even the House Sparrow would be on the endangered list?
I admire your tenacity in trying to keep this thread away from football. On the topic of avian demise, while I'm fortunate to have plenty of feathered friends in the places I frequent, even there, the downturn is noticable. Insect life has dropped significantly, very noticable on the rivers and lakes I fish. A lot of birds feed on these insects. Pesticides and polution are high on the list of causes. In fact, much of the planet seems broken, with man the prime instigator. The only creature 'flourishing'......
