One away that springs vividly to mind is the FA cup replay which following a draw at the Vetch and a draw at Selhurst Park the 3rd game was a weekday Jan night at Ninian Park. Sods law it clashed with a job interview I had in Kensington in London that afternoon. I remember they did some group exercises before the individual interviews and they had me down for my interview at 5pm! So some soft talking of the young lady who was administering the day was called for. Managed to get moved up to 3:30 and when i got in and got the usual question of what would be my greatest achievement I answered "getting to Ninian Park by 7:30 in time to watch the Swans"! Luckily for me he was a Brentford fan and I got the 5pm from Paddington and a job offer that week.

The train from Paddington was packed with Palace fans but no trouble but not the case when we got to Cardiff - why they thought NP was a neutral venue who knows there was lots of trouble going to the ground and a Swans fan got stabbed by a Palace fan who later got done for murder. It was packed to the rafters with the Swans fans in the Capt Morgan stand and we won the game 2-1 I think David Giles was playing for us then and I remember he scored a great goal in the 1st replay at Palace which ended 3-3.

Another memory was the following year when we were in the old 1st Division and I was working in London and a group of mates came up for the Chelsea game and we went to a pub on the Kings Road with a stripper but I had to get the drinks as I was the only one who could mimic a London accent and the pub was heaving with some very hard looking Chelsea fans. A far cry from the story we heard at the weekend when some of the lads on here shared a pre-match drink with Buck and his dad at the Chelsea game.

Panathanaikos! Christ, yeah - remember that. Main headline on the 10 o'clock news. Think the vicious Greek police gave them a bit of a seeing to in the cells as well. Poor buggers - trounced by a mob of Greek fans, then by the local police.

If I remember rightly, he always work as DJ on a Sunday night in Marthas. Used to always play his videos.

One of the lads I knew was arrested at the Panathanaikos game over there. Remember watching news at 10 with him sitting in the court, he told me when he got back the police gave them a bigger kicking than the locals.

Bus from port talbot went up to herefords edgar street in may 1981 to watch the second leg of the welsh cup final. Robbie james scored in the first leg at the vetch to give us a 1.0 advantage and he also scored in the 1.1 draw to win the cup for the jacks, bit of hassle here and there in hereford but nothing to bad and a good night developed untill we passed through glynneath coming home where cardiff scum bricked our bus and put every window on our bus through, fcuk knows how no one got badly injured and it also made the front page of the evening post <yikes>

Over endulgeing at half time in wembley after we went 3.0 up bought 5 pints and thought we had it in the bag, heared a few cheers but thought nothing of it. finished my last pint only to go back to my seat to find reading had pulled 2 back <doh> :emoticon-0107-sweat
