yeah there is a dvd of it, i had to buy it as i missed the 1st 30 mins queing outside...got in just in time to see barmbys volley, one of my favourite city goals of all time.. http://www.tigerleisure.com/shop/product/45/dvds/1313/home-matches-0405.aspx
Worst was when we played Orient in the play-offs a few years ago - 2nd leg. It pissed with rain and at the exposed away end could not see much. Got food poisoning from the pie stall (well it must have been!) and couldn't drive back to the digs, so had to sleep in the car parked up in a housing estate. Best if it counts was wembley 2008; followed by Anfield; i know we didn't win but their two cheating goals showed how they were chitting themselves. UTT
In 1966 I was stationed near Weymouth. City in their promotion year were playing Oxford. I traveled up the 2 or 3 hours to Oxford and watched the game. City won if I remember fairly easily and continued on with their promotion push. On the way back (I had of course had a couple of beers to celebrate) in my almost brand new Ford Anglia I fell asleep down one of the narrow Dorset lanes that were sided by the typical hedge. Next thing I remember the car was banging from one side of the road to the other. Luckily no one was hurt including the car (may have well have been since the Anglia quickly rusted away around me). Moral of the story away games that involve a long drive home can be bad for your health.
It was City 2 Oxford 1. That was almost at the end of a 17 game streak when they won 16 and drew 1. The streak was ended by Grimsby at home who won 1 0. The famous loss against Chelsea is buried in that streak but I did not count it since it was the cup. Went to both those games as well. After the game at Chelsea we went to a pub and all the Chelsea players were in there and were raving about how well City had played. Those were the days--Waggy, Waggy Oi Oi.
I agree - as I live in Huddersfield imagine the grief I've had to endure from those games on the following Monday at work
A few games stand out obviously some already mentioned, another is oreint away 84 when 4-1 down turned it about to win 5-4 an unbelievable game which we dominated and could have had ten.
