There's a whole world of other social media out there now... there's Pasoti for us indeed, although I'm not a member.

Blimey do they still exist? I would have thought their reasons for existing would have gone by now given the complaining nature of the posters against almost anything and everything.

I read Pasoti but only as a visitor as well notdistant. It has it's uses even if I have no inclination to join in.

Even though he’s Pasoti’s proprietor, Ian Newell is frequently seen on Twitter, although usually talking about golf and his charitable works.

I actually got my daughter to link me up with facebook a couple of months ago. I have no idea how to put anything on there of search the site but I can now send a message to familiy which amazingly they pick up in minutes. It's quicker than the phone and doesn't have an answer section saying leave a message after the beep.

That was a disappointment last night....obviously Erling Haaland is't the player we thought he was.....after THREE consecutive hat-tricks at home he could only manage TWO goals last night in his next home game.

Here's an interesting comparison: Charlton's latest accounts compared to Argyle's. You really need look no further than the date: Charlton have posted results to June 2021. We got our results to June 2022 out 10 days or so before that.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63158562

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63073653

Here are Argyle's accounts for the equivalent period, which included the worst of Covid.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59038544

A profit of £376k for the 12 months compared to Charlton's loss of £6.8m in 10 months. It's true Argyle's results were cushioned by 20/21 season ticket holders declining to take refunds during Covid and by business interruption insurance, but the first is a sign of the loyalty of fans and will have had an adverse knock-on effect in 21/22 and the second the result of wise management.

Charlton are getting smaller crowds than us at the moment......they at times boost their crowds by buying one ticket and bring a friend or family member....their ground is about 27,000 capacity

I've been more than once to watch Argyle for free....although I reckon they should pay me to go at times because of the pain it inflicts on me.

Me and my gang were talking about fixtures between now and the end of the year. They are weird and a bit few and far between given several Tuesdays are involved. The next home game is Tuesday 25th October followed by Monday 31st at 8pm. We have none in November at all. Then Friday 2nd Dec. So no Home game on a Saturday afternoon for the next 3. We then have 2 more in December on 17th and 29th. How crap is that.

Are we practicing for the Prem.............

Yes, as Saturday games suit us best as a group it's pretty annoying... next home game on a Saturday is not until 2nd December.

Further bad news: Danny Mayor out for 4 to 6 weeks with a torn calf muscle.

Oh no it isn't. 2nd December is a Friday according to the fixture list on the beeb. This season the fixtures are a complete load of arse.

Saw that about Mayor. Not good but we haven't missed him too much for the last couple of games so maybe not the disaster it would have been last season.

FA Cup first round on 5th November and second round on November 26th so only 2 league games in November, both away. Knowing us, we'll be drawn away somewhere uninspiring in the first round in any event.

Then you are right, it's Saturday17th December at Home Park v Morecambe.

Then we have a Thursday (29th) v Wycombe at 7:45 and New Year's Day v MK Dons.
