Scottish goalkeeper Jack Ruddy, 22yo , is expected to sign from Spanish club Leganes B (is there a Leganes A?).

Started his career at Rangers, Scottish U19 and Under 21 caps, and at Real Murcia. Spent time at Wolves and wait for it, Bury, before touring lesser known clubs in sunny Spain.

The talk is of bringing in 22 yr old Glasgow born Jack Ruddy....played 29 games in Scotland, England & Spain....and will be cover for Cooper whilst McCormick is out injured.....he trained with Argyle yesterday.

PS....Laganes B are the reserve team....situated in the suburbs of Madrid.

While McCormick was with us last time but was out of the team due to injuries or otherwise, he always arrived on matchdays at least half an hour before other players. Similarly, when I'd go up to collect tickets, his car was always there when others were not.

I don't know what he was up to, perhaps greeting sponsors or bit of coaching or something, but he was clearly doing more than just standing between the posts.

With his backstory, I don't know how much the current regime would want him to engage in an external ambassadorial role but perhaps he's been signed with some internal post in mind.

Squad numbers released.....I see that Tyler Coombes has now been given a squad number....No43......In the meanwhile the promised third keeper loan of Jack Ruddy hasn't as yet materialized.....is it still happening ?

PS.....Alex Palmer has signed on loan to Lincoln.

I find it difficult to understand what West Brom get out of letting Alex Palmer go on loan to Lincoln.....the man had quality and gave defenders in front of him confidence.....how can he improve at Div One level.....surely a Championship team could have benefited from him.

It's rather more than just the players Plym. It's an appreciation of the way the club's being run from the pitch to the board room.

A guy was jokingly complaining on Twitter yesterday because there's nothing to complain about.

West Brom have just brought in Brighton keeper David Button.....you do wonder what Alex Palmer's future is at West Brom....seeing that he has been farmed out to little Lincoln.

I would have said that Alex Palmer is a current candidate for a club in the Championship at least as No.1 keeper. Not to deride Lincoln as little but just not high enough in the food chain right now.

It seems as if Jack Ruddy has signed a short term contract until January 2021....he will be available for Tuesday's EFL Trophy match against Norwich U21's at home kick-off at 7.45pm.

The draw for the 2nd & 3rd round of the Carabao Cup will take place at 2pm today on Sky....both rounds are being drawn at the same time because there is only a week between these rounds.

How typical of the way things are going for Argyle financially. Not only did we lose the probable two biggest gates of last season but now in this cup competition we have the possibility of playing Spurs at home but more than likely in front of nobody. If there is a God then he definitely isn't a football fan and more isn't a fan of Argyle.

So Leyton Orient away in the 2nd round and if we win Spurs at home in the 3rd......now Joe would of been keen on watching Spurs.

I can imagine being him. If I actually was I'd sell everything off and retire somewhere really nice. Bollox to football.

I get what you mean though notdistant. Just when you spend out and set everything up for an easier ride **** happens.

Exactly: relationship with fans blossoming, community relations strong, popular, successful manager installed, buccaneering playing style, promotion, successful player recruitment, shiny new grandstand and then................... no bums on seats.
