FA CUP...ROUND ONE. Here we go again.....we are ball 33....you can watch the draw live on BBC 2 at 7pm today (Mon 21st). We could get Torquay or Exeter or even my local club Bromley.
Bollox.................Bolton haven't won a game all season yet. I way yet but then again we hardly ever win a cup match. If ever there was a banana skin folks..................
For a game like this which isn't likely to attract a full house of home fans, up to 15,000 away tickets are rumoured to be available. What's the betting the TV companies schedule it for 4pm on Sunday afternoon, 300 miles from home?
Tafari Moore not part of Lowe's plans shock..................... I could almost say Tafari who? I'd almost forgotten he was one of our's. Best of luck to the kid but can't say I rated him much anyway.
Not sure what's gone wrong there.....his record on paper looked quite promising.... Tafari Lalibela Moore... 22yrs old...5ft 8in.....6 years an Arsenal junior... then loaned out....played for England at U16...U17...U18...U19 and U20....and cannot make it at level four football...why ?......you don't get in the England youth set-up at every level without having something going for you. Is it application....has he been distracted from the end goal.....is he not being coached right.....are we using him to his strengths....or are we trying to mold him into something he isn't.....maybe he needs to get away to save his career.....just think five years from now he could be a regular for England....or he just settles for National league football and needs to work part time to pay the bills....who knows.
He's only played 27 games in English football. probably including some as substitute, and 1 game in the Dutch top division. However that happened, it often shows in his play. He's got a bit of pace and some skill but his attention span seems a bit lacking and has a tendency to be caught out of position and so on. Perhaps he's a classic example why it can be better for young players to start at the bottom, get competitive experience and work their way up rather than the other way around.
Klaidi Lolos and Mike Peck have signed youth loans with Southern League Dorchester. Lolos until New Years day and Peck for 28 days.
I see Macclesfield can't pay their players now: the disease is spreading. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50242811 It's clear to anyone with a modicum of sense that Brexit is going to highly damaging to the UK: reliable expert opinion is to the tune of £60-£70 billion per annum. That's a lot of jobs and a lot of Government tax receipts wasted. However, just as the opinions of Tim Martin, founder of the loathsome Wetherspoons, are irrelevant when it comes to Brexit because he neither imports nor exports, I'm damned if I can see how Brexit affects Macclesfield Town FC!
It's a good cop out blaming Brexit for everything that goes wrong.....does sound a little strange for an excuse.
Further news concerning Cameron Sangster....he has left PAFC by mutual agreement....that happen quickly ?
Morecombe have appointed Derek Adams as their manager on a 2 and a half year deal. I wish him all the best except when they play us. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50334089
Morecambe nearer Scotland....other than that not much to be said.....he'll be able to count the spectators whilst the Ref tosses the coin.
