Anyone else watch the Aussie Rugby league?
I got into this last season - it's so much better than the English games. Chose to support Penrith Panthers because I live in Cumbria and their logo is a black cat. Good pick as they won the league.
New season just started and you usually get at least three games over a weekend on Sky. I'd recommend giving it a try. (See what I did there)

Can't watch it, find it too defensive. Much higher quality though. Huge over here. Really ought to get to a Melbourne Storm game.
 
I prefer union tbh. But I think if you want to get into any sport you need to do as you've done and pick a team then follow them :emoticon-0148-yes:
