Same problem that we've had for years. The cars just can't run within a couple of seconds for any length of time without destroying tyres. One day they'll address it.
Another year, but the same nonsense. Might as well scrap any actual racing and base the results on how quickly you can change 4 tyres.
Need an aero overhaul similar to Indy to prevent this. There's potential for a ton of racing up and down the grid it seems.
Not a good weekend by Mercedes standards. Bottas binned it yesterday and the vsc threw a spanner in today.
If today is anything to go by, seems like barring screw ups and failures, a lot of races will be won in qualifying again. They've gotta address the aero problems soon. Bit of luck for Vettel there, but that's racing. Bet Kimi feels a little arsed off there.
The bit where you have to get the the finish line first. Need some wheel to wheel racing which we just can't get until they fix the aero probs and level out the performance gaps, but it is still racing and sometimes you need a bit of luck.
