    Because all the mods had admin rights, he just banned their accounts by IP <laugh>

    They changed all the passwords etc and the only way the site admin could wrestle back control was turn off the server.

    I think that to do this properly, you should ask people to nominate someone else, then ask them whether or not they're willing.
    That way you learn who the board wants, as opposed to who wants themselves up there.
    It's probably too long-winded a process, (it's only a footie forum after all), but does avoid the more controversial things like the KPR incumbency.

    Yeah just had a very quick look and came across this post
