Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone is attending either the youth cup match @ SJP on thurs evening (v grimsby) or Gateshead V AFC Wimbledon on Fri evening.
I think i will attend the gateshead match on fri (13 quid tho), as it will be a decent chance to see the likes of Tav, edmondson and even the mackem loan lad (who is from the same town as myself). Plus a few ex toon players who never made it like Gate, Brittain etc. Will be interesting to see conference standard, and it will be another stadium to tick off - i just like attending all sorts of matches. Plus wimbledon are a decent team, and with being the first of many AFC type teams, a bit of a novelty.
RE: The Youth Cup - we are away to Man Utd in the next round (should we progress) so will likely be our last home tie in this comp this year - i went to both the C.Palace and Aston Villa games last year and were pretty good. just a couple of quid on the door. However, i hardly recognised any players from the last team which won at Dulwich.
