We're at a crossroad. Protests won't garner much more than a sentence within the written press unless there is a drastic change. Most British football fans now know we resent RD and protest in some form. So it's a non story, coupled with our drop in division, we probably garner as much characters as a tweet in print. Online the context is more liberal, but a lot of the big boys borrow and steal from local rags, and pay little attention to what's written other than line ups and goal scorers. We need something eye catching, but I guess that responsibility is on card and their contacts. This isn't a criticsm either, I'm not sure what measure would garner the interest of last year. A crossroad, as I said when I started this post.
Officially a draw. Same as when we beat Chelsea on pens in the league cup and it prolonged mourinhos home record.
Most websites picking up on the attendances. Fleetwood had less than 400 games. I wonder if the club made money last night.
No. Things were so bad, they even considered asking Sue Parkes to pay for her ticket and vol-au-vents.
People on Twitter was saying "she [Sue...] was sitting next to Katrien." Sounds like in the mornings paper, they're probably going to review the competition for next year. The concept was to bring in young English talent, and let they have proper game time in a competitive environment. When you looked at teams, the managers registered themselves as players, and there was 33 year old non-English players a plenty. Just look at Norwich U23 and Leicester U23 teams. Pretty sure none of them were U23. Apart from us and a a handful of clubs did they actually field youngsters and academy players. Luton had to seek permission for one of their players to miss a day of school for the competition.
I have been reading about the way Sue Parkes governs the SE7 Valiants Facebook site. Once again, straight out of the North Korea textbook. Anyone uttering the merest hint of anti Regime criticism gets an immediate ban from the Dot Cotton lookalike and her handful of craven apologist mates. School -marmish comments from Sue proliferate on the site, unbelievable stuff along the lines of "ah yes, but if you knew what I knew about what goes on behind the scenes" Any other Club would be calling gormless henpecked Chris Parkes in for a disciplinary interview.
Not sure, I just read the Dear Leader was now controlling that one. Members Only - 407 people all of a like mind.
Never heard of it - will try and have a butch when on the laptop. I know she's no longer admin of the Facebook page which has 7k fans, though she still is prone to a meire on there every now and again.
