Yes I have one of these. I'm there now.
Every now and then a super horse like Frankel explodes on the scene. But if you are really lucky, occasionally two will make the grade. Most will of course know that we in Australia have a champion of our own in the shape of Black Caviar, a mare who has won 9 G1 events and $5,000,000 in stake money on her way to an unbeaten 19 race streak. But we also have another who shows great promice, Atlantic Jewel. The winner of her 5 starts to date, she today made her first interstate appearance in the G2 Sapphire Stakes at Randwick over the 1200m trip. Against a field which included a couple of G2 winning sprinters, the Coolmore filly was sent to the post at fractional odds against.

After winning the G1 1600m Thousand Guineas and the G1 2000m Wakeful Stakes last October, she was expected to walk away with the 2400 G1 Oaks, but suffered a back complaint in winning the Wakefield, and had to be sent to the paddock. Over the sprint trip today, it was expected that a few questions would be asked of the horse against a more speedier lot. The link below shows how she went. She is in the Coolmore dark blue, and is well back, trapped three deep. Some here are calling for a Black Caviar - Atlantic Jewel clash.
