Klopp thought Atletico would sit deep hence his midlfield choice. It worked well but we didnt keep our headz after their first goal. They played a good tactical game and it exploited our high line. We talk about Anfield but that atmosphere was hostile and gave them all the extra energy needed to get at us I will not hammer Keita as some have because the only reason it looks bad is Alli was unable to bail him out like he did with Virg and Matip. Even with his sub we still got opened up even with a man advantage. Game management was our main issue and the good thing is it gives Klopp a chance to hammer the bad performance out before the united game. Most important thing is to win which we did and beating them at Anfield guarantees us a second round spot.

Reason Keita is getting singled out is because he defended like a ****ing carrier bag in his one-on-one situations and both cost us dearly! You can't play well for ten minutes and stop soon as you've scored, games last ninety minutes; granted, he's not used to that length of game.

Well a draw v Porto or Atletico will put us through. A draw v Milan means we could all end on 11 points if we lose to Atletico and Porto who then both beat Milan and draw with each other. Anything but defeat v Atletico puts us through. A win should put us top.
What was Macca on about with the red card. Firmino ducked down? Not sure what game he was watching but he maybe titled his head forward so was about an inch lower than normal. As a footballer I know what he was trying to do…. yeah I don’t think you need to be a footballer to realise he’s trying to control the ball. Problem was he stuffed firmino in the head and it’s a red card whether you mean it or not. the overturned pen, tricky one. Didn’t look much in it. Jota was wrong side but was hardly any contact. I don’t think should have been given to start with but once it was surprised was overturned. Overall, big Al showing why he’s the best keeper in the world tonight.

Lol was going to avoid coming on here because I expected everyone to blame Naby as if he was the only one who struggled. Unfortunately, it follows the media narrative where Hendo and Milner can make all the mistakes in the world but get free passes. Naby was criminal for the first goal but the second goal was excellent play by Felix, Hendo offers zero cover, Matip is out of position because of hendo, then VVD is isolated and completely done by Griez. The second goal was a collective issue.
