That is why I said christmas is a celebration of religion/belief even before it became christmas it was steeped in religion/belief I disagree with your view re excluded. To celebrate xmas as a muslim is to acknowledge its origin and what it has become something Islam forbids, that would be hypocrisy as well as islamically wrong same with atheism. To participate in ANY religious activity is to acknowledge it.
