I haven't got a clue what went on particularly and there isn't that much about anything on ATD either to be definitive about it. I am slightly fed up with the war of words and deeds going on between the sites. I can see why ATD was set up. PASOTI has become the happy clappy forum for the blindly led and ATD has become the site for the disaffected who have been driven elsewhere for daring to question anything at all. That means the difference between the two are like north and south poles apart. When people get slated on PASOTI for saying anything other than the party line they appear a little later on ATD. ATD has grown out of this by the look of it. In contrast though if you post positive on ATD it does seem to attract the accusation that you are a happy clapper and are led by the nose by the establishment. Polar opposites.
There is more than enough room for both sites and why they insist on being at war with each other rather than just "being" independantly I just don't know. There is an opinion in life that power is everything but that absolute power corrupts. The later may be the problem with some of the people involved in this. The power of the perceived victory has gone to some people's heads and they are now thinking they are more important than the club they helped to save. Feted by the masses this is made worse and only goes to reinforce their belief they are more important than they are. The President should and must stand away from this and be, well, "the President". The fact he still appears to be involved somewhere in the background is testament to my stated belief he is not fit for purpose in that roll. I do find that grown ups behaving in this manner is poor and there are people on both sides who should be slightly ashamed of themselves.
