Look this sort of stuff happens to the best of us against inferior opposition, just ask AC Milan :bandit:

We did better than them at least we won the pens!

I agree. He was okay today, and that will do until we get a proper DM, and then he can cover for early-round cup ties and injuries.

    he was mediocre.

nothing wrong with that but when nobody will play on the half turn and bring it forward it becomes a massive issue. imo we are playing slow about the back because there's no passes on and if there is it goes straight back to the cbs.

I really think we need to look at this in the summer.

not because he's slow but we need to transform.our game now and we have to get that by playing through midfield and being crisper

Few times gravenberch took it on the turn from the defence. Was a nice one where let it run past him and totally took out the opponent.

endo is what he is. He’s decent in a tackle and offers some defensive awareness. On the ball he’ll do but there’s a reason why he’s never quite made it to a top team before. Because he has his limitations on the turn and on the ball. But he is at least offering some protection compared to fab last year.

a couple times but most of the time he was massively wide again whichever seems to be a trend

endo is a fine lad and a hard worker. he's also slow and does a henderson on it (passes back)

he's a specialist at intercepting the ball and playing simply.

thiago was a master at this stuff but he is toast and defensively wouldn't be top top either.

I don't know if it's currently confidence or the set up or what but the passing is so slow round the back and the balls into a cm are coming right back no matter who it is. even if it goes into a forward all they want to do is not get cusght on it and just pay it right back.

we don't seem to have a plan to move the ball forward reliably.

bet that down the sides with width or be thst by passing between the lines centrally.

obviously the positives today was that we had some good work from gakpo and diaz wider and thst we did start catching Fulham out higher up the park which is that the second and winning goal came from.

    our goals were:
free kick from foul on jota
sloppy Fulham pass and no closing down on the edge of their box
reasonably quickly play and through ball that jota finished.

    typical klopp team goals.
