i don't have a problem with what he said. at all. some players respond better to the carrot, others to the stick, others to psychology. it is almost christmas and clearly nothing has motivated the qpr players to put in any significant effort yet this season. if chapters 1-49 haven't produced worthwhile effort, you move on to chapter 50. actually, i'm glad they're going down. i know we're meant to hate warnock, but qpr shouldn't have sacked him last season. they wouldn't be where they are now if he was still with them. i would like to have seen hughes take them down though, because i've never liked him.
I think Harry is a good manager - he hasn't named too many players (the ones he has named you can be sure he is moving them on or freezing them out) he'll get the best out of those that want to work hard. I'm no fan of qpr but I hope Harry survives with them - it would be a great achievement.
