No, it's not that - just that these modern spell-checkers don't recognise the word Hughton and always seem to replace him with Houghton!? Foomun' Neyull!!
The local bar I frequent most is called Pejos (Peter and Josie proprietors) and when ever I type that it is auto corrected to penis every time.
Well, as per the norm, we seem to have wavered slightly off track - from Chris Hughton to a Philippino bar with a dubious name. - where next I wonder ?
I'll tell Peter, from your part of the world Dave, well Bristol, that he'll have to change the name. I actually hope Brighton get promotion, Hughton has been a successful manager with all his teams except us.
I'd also like to see Brighton promoted. CH has done well to turn them around. On the other hand, Lambert seems to be having familiar problems: http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...bes_frustration_at_blackburn_rovers_1_4485932
One more down, five to go! http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35957137 here are the remaining fixtures for the top three: Burnley: Birmingham (a) Middlsbro (h) Preston (a) QPR (h) Charlton (a) Middlsbro: Reading (h) Bolton (a) Burnley (a) Ipswich (h) Birmingham (a) Brighton (h) Brighton: Fulham (h) QPR (h) Charlton (a) Derby (h) Middlsbro (a) So as usual, in recent years, the top of the Championship is just as exciting as the bottom of the PL
I just can't comprehend a Hootun side scoring goals??? For that matter I'm not sure after his tenure at city I can comprehend his sides keeping clean sheets either......you get the point, I mean winning! very bizare. I'd still rather they failed to make it, but it is bloomin exciting, 'Borough away on the final day! Bah!
Could hardly be closer, this one´s going all the way, almost without doubt. Burnley still have the easiest two left, but I wouldn´t want to call it after that.
It's unbelievable, if I could comprehend Hootun playing attacking football, it's almost like he's sent them out to score a hatful these last couple of weeks knowing that they needed to play catch up on GD. Burnley: QPR (h) Charlton (a) Middlsbro: Birmingham (a) Brighton (h) Brighton: Derby (h) Middlsbro (a) As RBf says, Burnley have the easiest finish and have the knowledge that the other two must take points off each other. That said if they were to lose to QPR and the others win, then they wouldn't half fear the draw! Whilst both Brighton and Borough would want to win the league, it is certaintly not beyond belief that a mutually beneficial draw with borough at home winning the league on goal difference could happen. That said I expect them to all win, (though away at Brum looks the toughest) to set up a grand stand finish on the final day. Whoever finishes 3rd must go into the playoffs as favourites even if that means very little in knockout games like that. Bah!
Interestingly Brighton are at home to Derby who cannot either make the top two or fail to make the play offs. It would be understandable in that situation if Derby didn't want to risk injuries to their best players and gave Brighton an easy run. That could leave Hughton only needing to avoid defeat at Boro to make an auto spot.
Don't you think you should leave championship conspiracy theories on the back burner, CT...at least until we're involved in three months time
