Really pleased for the family. I don't think they've realised yet how much they've won, they're talking about structural changes to their house, etc.
With that amount of cash you build your own house, fully adapted to make their disabled daughter's (and the rest of family) life as comfortable as possible.

The point that should be raised is that they shouldn't need to have won the lottery to make their lives easier.

The measure of a civilised society is how it looks after the chronically sick and disabled. That's what the NHS should really be for, not fat twats that need gastric bands. I'll stop there.

Well I agree with him. It's a lottery, there is no such thing as deserving or undeserving. Of course it's nice see people win who will do something we see as worthwhile with the money rather than someone who blows it on a mountain of coke, but deserving or undeserving are the wrong words to use.

Leave Micky Caroll( King of the Chavs) out of this please.

    He only did what anyone of us would do given the chance;

Buy a mansion, trash it and turn the grounds into a dirt track.

Befriend plastic gangsters who ponce most of your money and whack the rest up your snout and on prozzies.

£9 million gone in a couple of years, job done.

    And it was Norfolk.

    Get it right FFS.

Oh aye, my bad. I really have no excuse for getting that wrong. He's almost local.

    Accept my humble apologies.

    Accepted.

You must admit that deep down you've got nothing but admiration for Mickey.

    We all have.

    Surely.

I might admit to a grudging admiration, whilst still thinking he's a bit of a ****.

I remember one of my mates stating he was pleased it wasn't won by some old biddy who wouldn't have been able to spend it all like he did.

Gets right on my tit end when lottery winners say they're still going to go to work and it won't change them.

    Why do the bastard then?

I'd jack work in in the the blink of an eye and turn into a bigger arsehole than I already am.

    Just being honest.
