I wouldn't say that. I would say gakpo took his place and Diaz sat on the bench until being put at 9 in the cl and scoring a few goals. Since then Diaz has been utterly ineffective while gakpo has scored loads of goals and had a decent assist return. If not for salah being so Stellar people would be raving bit about gakpo 16 goals and 5 assists in 36 games is a 1 in 2 contribution from lw. As a comparison a player being absolutely raved about is isak who has 17 goals and 5 assist from striker albeit in less games as they have no europe Cody gakpo has more than earned his place as lw. For me jota having 8 goals and 2 assist out of 1000 minutes is pretty good return for a pretty poor amount of minutes. Diaz as 12 goals and 3 assists in 2200 minutes so it's not too bad either playing at 9

Yeah that’s far too knee jerk and harsh because of 2 unfavourable results. Elliott has been outstanding in coming on and changing games for us this season, Bradley is a brilliant option and Nunez is good for work rate and defending set pieces/corners as well as offering the odd important goal!

Right we need to tighten up a lot. They are walking through our lines far far too easy. Shut the passing lanes and start wk8ng up especially Szoboslazi who has been run off about 4 times. Passing is also too loose. They have pushed 4 up so there is a mile of space wide in a virtual 424 to pass in against. Get it to full backs quick amd drop into those zones. Come on now.

We seem to watch different games every single week. Our passing has been really good and brave today. Playing through midfield and trusting players. Grav Mac and Jota all received ball to feet under pressure and turned nicely to see us on attacks. if you only ever pass to players in marked then Robbo and vvd be playing pass the parcel. You have to be brave and pass to players that are marked to create space and openings. That’s why you have brilliant midfielders who can take a ball under pressure
It's idiotic risk taking when there's an easy pass on. It's the wrong options thsts the point. You don't need to pass to a man with 3 on him when you've another option. Different challenge or ref call amd they could be straight in
