Granted I've only clicked on the first three but I haven't seen anything from Dev directly quoting Phil Mac. In fact, I've mostly seen derision and comments about how much of a ****er the man is.

Pretty much sums it up. He's an egotistical prat with an oversized sense of his own importance but there's no doubting that he nailed the Rangers story and if certain Glasgow-based journalists had paid heed to him instead of stuffing their fat faces with succulent lamb then Rangers might never have died or even ended up in the hands of Craig "wealth off the radar" Whyte.

I only clicked one of those links (the personal favourite one) and it's a thread where he's having the pish ripped oot of him.

Rebs, the "club" bit refers to Andrew Dickson.

He's employed by TRFC and has today tweeted to loads of (naturally, beeling) types asking him why the club did nothing to stop Phil appearing in the papers.

His retorts amount to him refusing to say exactly what they DID do but saying that the club were involved in this <laugh>

Embarrasing.

The day Lawwell or Riley or Gregor Kyle (Dickson's equivalent) ask STV or Sky to stop getting people that have openly slandered our club and fans like Graham and Dunghatch appearing on STV and Sky is the day that we clearly have no actual problems to deal with <ok>

His "opinions" are regulary laughed at, although his information regarding Rangers plight proved to be accurate.

So what exactly is Timothy going to be up in arms about because the Sun is not going to serialise his book? Who ON HERE will be upset/beeling about this news?

No one that's who, and that's the point I was making, maybe in future I will need to dumb it down a bit.
