Bit unfortunate not to nick it at the end there. The chip form Arshavin to gervinho was cut out brilliantly by Clark right at the critical moment. Fair play to Villa, they pressed us all game and kept their shape, worked hard and denied us space and time. In the end, a draw was about right. Still a point away from home so not too bad.
Arshavin should of been on instead of gervinho as the earlier sub! Once he came on the pitch he put several good balls into the area, we needed him and Giroud on the pitch together. Coq was rubbish when he came on. Ramsey was good.
Our last three away performances in the league has been shocking. Can count on one hand the amount of decent chances we have created in all those games. And for the very few Walcott doubters left, this is yet another game that provides evidence that we are bloody toothless without him.
