Should have been sacked about 45 games ago. At least that’s what it feels like.

 

He probably did need to come over, but he didn’t need to try and bring it down and turn when Duran was basically on his toes

 

There was a moment just after the half hour mark that sums us up. Sums Martin up. Sums the player up playing to Martins instructions.

Adam A made a good run on the wing, bent his run nicely, losing his marker. Downes had the ball with space to slow down, look up, and chip it over to AA. Was such an easy and obvious move.

Until Downes passed sideways. He instantly held his hands up to say sorry. But it is drilled into them to play sideways and backwards. It was almost like he knew what he would ordinarily do if managed by anyone other than this ****. Be he couldn’t do it.

Anyone else notice it or see it differently??

 

I reckon we'll have someone sent off this half. Might put a fiver on.

 

Ah, thanks. Yes we were saying here that all that was needed - from Wood or Harwood-Bellis - was a foot through the ball and get back into position for the Villa throw

The big chance we had early on when Downes went through and slowed right down allowing Villa to get back and block Archers eventual shot sums it up. No killer instinct even when we have 2 players through on the keeper

 

I actually think Wood hasn't done badly since coming into the side.

Saying that about AA being awful, who else can we put in? I’d be temped with SAA, he won’t be any worse. Move Dibling central.

Still on Martin though, he sanctioned the new contract for AA and sanctioned the summer signings.
