Cheers........as you have a soft spot for us perhaps you'll be good enough to give 3 points at your place in a few weeks time, would certainly help us.....:emoticon-0150-hands

On the coverage at the end of the game Jenas & Mills were saying that there are times when a keeper would instruct the wall not to jump as it would block his view for a while longer and they guessed that Green told them not to jump......I suppose you have to admire the strike as it was the only place he could put the ball to score, anywhere else and Green would have made the save, a bit like Krankies free kick against Stoke earlier in the season.

In the cold light of day I would have taken a point especially at Half Time, but can't get the feeling out of the system that was 2 points dropped......

A goal and two assists last night. Anyone with an eye in their head could see this guy is a decent player. Compare him to Hoillett and its farcical really.

Last night alone he provided more goals & assists than Toilet has in the last two years :emoticon-0136-giggl

He's right. Phillips is a far superior player than hoilett. He beats defenders, knows how to use his pace, knows how to defend (or at least, is aware that he has a duty to do so), can strike a ball, gives a ****. No comparison really.

Not disputing that Woody, I agree we are now seeing the Matty Phillips that we thought we were getting last season......it's just Swords' way of having a dig looking for a re-action.......

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself last night, probably less stressful being at the game than watching on a stream......felt shattered at the end!!!!!

How would you compare them Tramore? He's got more assists this year than Ronaldo FFS!

As Woody says, there's no comparison between the two.

See above.....I prefer Phillips to Hoilett as I don't think we've seen anything from him like the player he was at Blackburn......besides playing Phillips on the right side is how to get the best out of him......Hoilett has lacked confidence this season for some reason, yet when we saw him pre-season playing in the No 10 role at Tallaght he looked good, I know you can't compare standards but it was promising......Agree?

Toilet would definitely be best through the middle cos he ain't a winger. If you can't cross a ball how can you play on the wing?

Time to move him on at the end of the season.

Stan thought that had been done and dusted 12 hours ago if you're referring to Cols tactics call?

Not sure you should compare him with Ronaldo Swords......after all he may have more assists but he doesnt have 36 goals.....

But Matty played very well last night.

Phillips a boy from Aylesbury has certainly come good this year...how much contract he we got on him....will we lose him at the end of year

Hoillet, repaid a lot last May when he tenaciously won the ball from the Derby player and then crossing the ball so pinpointedly to Koegh to lay on the sublime ball to OBZ.
Joking apart...it was his tenacity that got us into the PL.....Thank you Hoillet....but I think for your own sake you need to move on

I did. Long time since I've been away. I went on a solo mission in the sunshine and sung my heart out. Yeah, I loved it.

To be fair, I don't think Matt Phillips is that good defensively. He has often shown himself to not track back and do his duty. But again, to be fair, he has improved on that.
He's definitely our man of the moment.
