I know how you feel Kilburn but we're not down yet although it is beginning to feel like it.

and TF, he sacked him a month too late, he gave him Saints, Reading and Villa at home which yielded only 2 points. He even said he wanted to keep him after he was sacked.

Just filing out of Villa Park.

Great atmosphere - very open match.

    Devastating result.

3-3 would have felt like a win.

So many chances. Should have closed it out first half.

Totally this.......Win against Fulham and then Wigan, then we're right back in the hunt again.

I can't hear the first chords of 'Skyfall' yet...and i aint giving up until Adel has got her mouth wash out.

Mate, I'm a Reading fan and I am expecting the worst tonight. It could be an absolute embarrassment.

If its any consolation, you won't be bottom by half seven tonight. Our goal difference will be worse than yours by about -10.

Commiserations for today. You should have been out of sight by half time.

We felt we needed a miracle after the UTD game, and we got it. Now we need a another one. Things can change very quickly, a couple of back to back wins and we're in with a sniff again. I'm not saying it's going to happen, and it's probably not very likely...but things aren't over yet. If Wigan and Reading lose this weekend there's still an outside chance.

I think everyone of our players has had a shocking game this season and today it was Cesar's turn...but how many games has he saved us this season...the ones in January against Chelsea,Tottenham Man City and more...lets not be too hard on the guy...disappointed as you all, couldn't even bear to watch the stream or any of the TV reporting but I still think we can get out of it I really do..

And they say Villas defence is poor! I haven't checked, but I reckon that is the first time they've scored 3 at home this season. Championship here we come. Oh dear!

Hmm, a definite set back. Credit as ever to the travelling QPR fans. That was a body blow - possibly fatal - but still agree with Grifter above. Not down and out quite yet.

That's about it - I keep thinking if those Samba 1st half shots had gone in and we had made it those 30 secs to half-time. Oh what might have ben today.

Despite certain players obviously likely leaving for greener pastures (to cut the wage bill, I think we could still put together a decent Championship squad and maybe dream of promotion once again. Who would we be left with in such a squad?

    Green
    Murphy
    Onuoha
    Ben Haim
    Traore?
    Ehmer
    Harriman
    Hill
    Derry
    Park?
    Mackie
Taarabt? (hope he stays for the ride)
    Zamora
    Johnson
    Hoilett?
    Jenas
    Bothroyd
    Hulse
    SWP
    Diakite?
    Yun

    Leaving?

    Cesar
    Remy
    Granero
    Samba
    Bosingwa
    Mbia
    Cissé
    Barton
or bring him back for some steel, but not red mist?

TBH I think we've been missing Barton's presence on the pitch (not his red mist) - no real leaders out there today.

Least UtD are winning. They've got a lot of space around the Reading box, i don't think we'll be bottom by the end of the day.

Didn't see the game, listened to it on 5 Live, seems like we chucked it. But still 24 points to play for, you miserable old scrotes. I hope some of you don't teach your kids to give up and/or blame all and sundry like you do with your club.

Need to double our win's tally and with three of those games against Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool - I just can't see it.
