Yeah it’s Wednesday 1st May. What do you make it? We lost 6-0 at home to Blackburn at the weekend, with Pukki and Buendia injures and both Krul and Zimmermann suspended for punching the guys who injured them.

Plus Leeds beat Ipswich 5-0, so they have a better GD.

So we really need to win this one.

So last game approaching. Point required for 1st place unless Sheff Utd stumble to a loss or draw in their game at Stoke.

I'd like to see Jamal Lewis given the ball if we get a penalty. Only outfield player without a notch this season.

 

If we get a penalty I'd like Krul to take it - that would be a novelty.

 

I'm sure he'd do a better job than most of them have this season

Looking forward to the Villa game now that we're promoted and need just a point. A win would take us through to the pre-season on a high.

 

This is going to be a tough tough test Villa have won a record 12 games on the bounce and the divisions stand out on form team .

Win lose or draw they will finish 5th and play West Brom so they won't want any suspension or injuries , hopefully this will mean we won't get kicked all over the park like most weeks.

They are also likely to rest their player of the year McGinn as he is one booking from a suspension they will hopefully rest a few others.
Norwich old boy Jed Steer looks like he may play so they may have another ex keeper playing a blinder factor like we experienced with Rudd .

They certainly won't roll over and lose their momentum before the play offs but I'm hoping for a draw or better .

To hand the title to Sheffield United on goal difference would be bitterly disappointing but I will stick to my mantra of at least we didn't do a Leeds.
