Me too Lee, I've been sure for months we'd be found out and get humped at Villa on the mouth of Christmas, it's the ingrained "wheels will fall off" mentality - and lo and behold we only go and turn them over after being 2 down. At 2-2 I was going to post that win, lose or draw we are the real deal, and we are.
Meant to add, i’ve Read some negative comments about him which is shocking to be making about an 18 year old... but I thought Davis did well on his debut. Kodija is a handful and he got tested early, but stuck at it. Played the bielsa way, wasn’t afraid to get forward. As for the I going bpf debate. Thought he did some things well and some things not so well today... but, did make a great reflex save at 2:2. Everybody contributed today.... well maybe not Harrison
Agreed Milky, considering Davis is 3rd choice LB and suddenly told minutes before ko that he was making his debut in front of 41,000 I thought he was superb
Norwich are miraculously bobbing along with a defence of academy players a Finnish striker that rips the piss with Ice in his veins and a smattering of Kraut ringers . I haven't been in the Carrow Road end for over a decade witnessing history as I have seen recently. Late winners means the fitness levels are combined with class. It's not a fluke guys it's called heart
First real day here and looks great. Weather is not playing ball at the moment but set to improve but villa result has made me forget the rain.
I'd like to wish a very special Christmas to Dean 'Smug Bastart' Smith, and thank him for the very special gift of 3 points he gave us. His lack of tactical nous was a blessing for us. If he'd adopted the very simple tactics that other managers have used against us, he'd have won. But no, he smelled blood & wanted to embarrass us, slaughtering us like he predicted. Stupid cnut. If he'd used the head at 2-0, he'd have sat back, killed our space & pressed hard. But no, ego before sense. Fortunately. That's why I loved his face when we equalised. And even more when we scored the winner. Pillock.
TBF he did say we are the best team they have played and were the best team today, didn't expect that.
Villa were out on their feet at the end, they’re facing a tricky away game to Swansea on Boxing Day and Swansea have been knocking a few goals in. I feared West Brom and Villa the most from the chasing pack so tonight was pretty special but back to Villa being pooped at the end... Was this a gulf in fitness or is that what happens when you allow the opposition so much possession? I’m thinking the fitness levels myself as we still looked like our players covered twice as much ground today?
Aye, but didn't he contradict that in the following sentences? Can't remember what he said, but I wasn't happy at the time. Will see if I can find it.
