Not good. If that Huddlestone effort had gone in it'd be a different story. Ah well.

To be fair he is the only LB we have, and one of two replacements at CH where the other one is Bruce who was at fault for the third

Our defending has been so solid all season but recently we've not looked the same. 3 against Sheff Utd, 3 against Arsenal, 2 against Fulham and now 3 against Villa. We need to be much more assured at the back because to let Weimann score two headed goals is criminal. We were completely in control at 1-1 as well.

Believe it or not... Sunderland are doing us a favor today. If they beat United and Fulham lose at Stoke we'll be pretty much safe.

I think we'll end up finishing 17th now, I would of taken that at the start of the season!

How is Sunderland winning doing us a favour? If they lose we stay further ahead, it has no bearing on Fulham who can't catch us anyway.

We were already pretty much assured to finish above Fulham. We have something like a +30 goal difference over them. We would be safe for sure if Norwich loses to Chelsea tomorrow.

First of all, I want to congratulate Steve Harper. His performance has been fantastic. Really special.
Second, I want to congratulate Aston Villa. Despite them not been able to buy a win recently, clearly their players have put in a really special performance to put themselves in such a commanding position.
Third, I want to congratulate the rest of the Hull City team, for not relying on other team results to guarantee their premiership status, and not letting their minds wander to a Wembley appearance.
Lastly, I want to congratulate Steve Bruce for setting the right team mentality by suggesting he would happily settle for a 0 0 before the game even kicked off.

And that's all I have to say.
