    Blimey. Villa might prove us all wrong. What a hard working team, totally battered out midfield. Still, midweek games are never fun. But that's champions material - winning when you are up against the pressure.

    What I hope now is Villa dont go and roll over for Liverpool. Seen too many teams do that.

    Terry got a bit lucky as well. I'm not sure I like Lampard in the pivot really.

    This was great for the 3 points, otherwise it was a game to forget! I havebto say however Villa are a completely different article to last season! On what I've seen so far , they could qualify for Euro competition this year!

    The Villa, Everton, Europa league battles are back on the cards. But I'm sure Liverpool and Arsenal will have something to say about that.
