Puncheon had a good spell in second half, but he tends to hold onto the ball a little too long and his sloppy pass led to their goal, so no wonder no-one considers him MotM.

As I said earlier, Clyne gets it for me, he was outstanding. Always available for a pass, contributed well going forward, made two or three really good tackles and scored a goal. Best all-round player on the pitch today (though Ramirez and Lambert were also excellent).

On Puncheon.. the pundits have blamed him for the goal in a big way. It was rather a team effort though we had more than enough players back to deal with it. Bit harsh the way they are blaming him completely

You can't blame him entirely for the game, but he played a very boneheaded ball straight back to them.

I agree but we should have dealt with it. It was also a very lucky goal coming from a mishit like that, difficult to defend but we had our chances to head the ball clear I suppose

I didn't think he was the man of the match. Ramirez was clearly man of the match, however with all these things people vote for particulatar favourites/won't vote for people on the fact they dislike a player. Puncheon was very good today, he was a threat going foward and dropped deeper to support davis and schnedierlin went on there usual rades around the pitch, he's improving all the time so I think he deserves a mention. For the record I voted or Gaston.

Voted for Lambert. played the pass leading to Puncheon's 'goal' and the penalty. Scored 2 goals. Passed to Ramirez leading to Clyne's goal. Think he deserves it having played a hand in all 4 goals.
