Jonathan Kodjia is back and fit to face Hull City on Saturday.
The Ivorian missed last weekend's trip to Wigan Athletic because of a knock, but is in line to feature this time around.
He is the only confirmed injury comeback, with Mile Jedinak having just an outside chance of making the matchday squad.
Henri Lansbury, Jack Grealish and Axel Tuanzebe remain absent.
Kortney Hause is likely to make the 18 for the first time at Villa Park.

I think they have a decent team on paper , first game in a while I'm not overly confident despite our run , surely can't win again can we? We have beaten Aston Villa at Villa Park the same number of times - once - as we have beaten Everton at the same venue.
