Just seen the latest news regarding tickets for the game at Villa.
Its on a Monday night at 8.00pm and on Sky but the greedy whatisnames are asking £41 a ticket to sit up in the top corner of that stand...no wonder we have only taken an initial 1600 tickets

What are these EPL clubs trying to do?

Disgraceful Villa!

I paid around that sum last year to watch a boring 0-0 draw. One positive is that they've reduced concession tickets, which I qualify for. Won't be returning anyway.

Villains?

Is it me, or are Villa games played on Monday night more than any other clubs' are? Like Spurs and Sundays.

Villa are a joke of a club. Check home tickets and you can pick them up for 15ish quid.

Edit: on viagogo though.

From 25 to 42 on main villa site. Still a joke, away tickets should match the cheapest home ticket IMO.

For comparison, here's the Leicester prices for their game at St Marys

Adults £34
Seniors (Over 65s) £30
17-21 Years £30
11-16 Years £21
Under 11s £12

Home tickets are £32 for adults, £22 for concessions, £16 for Under-17s and £12 for Under-11s

Another comparison worth noting is the price for other away games: Arsenal away is £26.

So yes, I would consider the Aston Villa prices poor value!

But who set the price first? What do we normally charge away fans?

Well, I'm regularly paying £39 for a ticket in the Kingsland bought by a season ticket holder, though Stoke was only £25 in the Chapel, so I'd imagine away fan prices are around the £38 mark.

They charge away fans the same as Home fans pay in 'wings and goals'. For Adults the prices are as follows:

Cat A - £42
Cat B - £39
Cat C - £34

Way too much. Our Cat A prices are probably acceptable, but Cat C and B is way too high. Arsenal charge £26 to away fans for Cat C.
