    Ha! I'd have loved to have been sat at the Cabinet table in those days. They say politics is boring. But we've made it that way - everybody takes everything so seriously these days! Headline-making "*****philes" were just 'dirty old men' who groped lads in the Fulwell End if they weren't careful. "Knife crime" was 'a little nick' down Dundas Street on a Saturday night. What the hell happened to laughs? How about you and me put ourselves up as parliamentary candidates, mate, and liven the buggers up again?

    Great idea mate but the pc tree hugger types wouldn`t be able to cope. We`d only last a matter minutes.

    The very first `how missus, are you ****ing daft or what like?` and we`d be out on our ears. <laugh>
