It will be interesting to see who comes in before the 31st August. I'm assuming Aribo and Bauer will not get sold.
I don’t think he can sell them now. The silence from the club today has been deafening. It looks like we didn’t sign a single player.
According to Bowyer someone is coming down tomorrow. It could be the Leeds midfielder. Six month loan.
I was a bit disappointed with Bowyer's interview tonight. It was verging on the Robinson-esque at times. When he said we would sign players this week, what he really meant was loan players by the end of the month?
TRansfer windows remind me of the Charlie Brown cartoon. The ones where the little girl holds the football for Charlie to kick. Every time she promises him she won't pull the ball away and so he takes his run-up, kicks, and she pulls the ball away and he falls flat on his back. She then blames him for bekieving her rather than relying on experience, namely that she always does the same thing. Used to be in the Daily Mail. You see the analogy.
There is certainly a similarity to all Duchatelet transfer windows ....remember Robinson talking about his fantastic budget
Ha Ha Ha Don't give up the day job. but many people fall for it. COYR what a win what 11 Academy players in the squad
Does Roland really want to sell? Does Murphy etc really want to buy? Are they still in any sort of communication? Are the two sides capable of doing a deal? It looks as though we're just going to stagger on indefinitely, with Bowyer and Jackson holding the club together heroically. 6 months since Murray said the deal would be closed very shortly, and very little to go on since then. We do know that Roland offered the ex-directors an insulting 25% of the money owed, so that gives me the impression that there is a problem there, but we also know that Murphy is out try to raise enough cash. If so does that mean they are prepared to meet Roland's asking price if another investor comes in? Who knows?
