    He will definitely die.

  6. Robin Cook, Princess Di, Jo Cox...

Not to mention the scores of NASA scientists and ufo whistleblowers who have died in exceptionally bizarre circumstances, or have simply disappeared.

Meh. I have more sympathy for Snowden. He released information relevant for citizens BECAUSE he was trying to protect them from injustice.

Manning just released all manner of documents just for the hell of it with no morale goal behind it... Just because he/she could. Pure coincidence it turned up controversial stuff. Manning was in for the lulz.

Assange was just in for the self glorification.

Of the three, only Snowden acted the way he did, knowing he would be pursued the way he was, and with a strong moral purpose behind his actions. He's the only "hero" of the three.

What's so sad in all this is that despite all the damning stuff that came out of all the leaks from Manning, Assange and Snowden, the world shrugged its shoulders and did fck all about it. It must have emboldened many a government security agency.

For that reason alone, when we criticise the likes of Russia and China, we really hold no moral high ground.

    The whole world is apathetic.

And for the average person this is mainly because they feel nothing they say or do will change anything.

We are acclimatised to the worst **** in the world... nothing really shocks anymore and what does shock is only temporary. And those who are activists against it are largely ignored or maligned and undermined.

People would rather they be watched by the state everywhere they go, tracked with every bank transaction, spied upon whilst on the internet, exact location at all times known via their phone, remained ignorant of what the state gets up to, apathetic to the erosion of their civil liberties and the rule of law all in the favour of watching their pennies go up or down ever so slightly.

We are bottom feeders in the big game and people would rather bury their heads and remain in their own little bubble - myself included to a point.

Fear of the state also plays a part.

Who wants to go up against the state?

The state is making an example with Assange.

Any dissent regardless of its validity will be dealt with by any mains and there is **** all you can do about it.
