Nope; he was criticising religion in general for what he saw as a detrimental effect it had on participators jobs which if he's a season ticket holder or merchandise purchaser he pays for.

No different than criticising say David beckham if you believe his posh fecking & underwear modelling distract him from his day job.

It in no way criticises the religion in question & is no way an insistence that the individual does not have right to practice said religion of their choice.

I'm assuming the responses were lovely examples of the tolerant nature of the religiously minded ;)

Can Wums please start using terms other than blinkers and deluded!!!

I am perfectly aware of the intolerant both within and without religion. But as said this is not a religious forum and if we continue prattling Bow , Ze or Hash
Will come thundering in with their Godly forum powers and smite us where we type....

Just gotta give my 2cents on the Ramadan thing, he does eat, it is not a problem. Just schedule is a little different. Nasri has been playing, Benzema has been, Ba, Cisse, they are all Muslim.

Back to the subject, I think once internationals are done I think we can see assaidi a lot more, really can't really on sterling this much at so young. Play? yes of course, but not full 90's all the time.

The problem is that Sterling has impressed so much that we can't afford to drop him. Along with Suarez, he is our best attacker and I can't see anyone challenging him.

Can't wait to see Assaidi - we're desperate for a match winner and Suarez cannot do it all himself. It goes to show that when Luis has an off day, our attack is toothless. My only concern is that if both Sterling and Assaidi start, then it will mean that Suarez stays central. I feel his best position is out on the right, running with the ball, driving in the box and playing those low balls.

Anyone who thinks that they can claim either there is or isnt a god is ufferring from a bad case of arrogance.......Unfounded claims are for the Chelsea board not ours...lol

Ill tell you what i believe:

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

    Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs
    A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me

    [Chorus:]
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
    Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
    Inside of me
    The greatest love of all
    Is easy to achieve
    Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

    [Chorus]

And if, by chance, that special place
    That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
    Find your strength in love
