Seems to have made an impact at Stoke which is good to see. I actually liked him at LFC - I thought he was always positive and was capable to creating something. Was in and out of the team so must he have been difficult for him to have got some rhythm going. Perhaps the same applies to Aspas - give him a season at a smaller club, let him play without the pressure and hopefully he can improve? Either way - we need to sign quality in January. No potentials, or hidden gems. They have to be good quality players if we stand a chance to getting top 4 and title.
It's strange because for us he'd go down the line then beat a couple of players and put a cross in which is why he wasn't working for us. However for Stoke he seems to be getting the ball and coming inside which is working well for him and allowing him to get more involved/score goals. You'd think that would also work well for us so will be interested to see if he does come back next year if he continues to play like that. If we were to get an offer of anything around £6m+ then would probably take it though and allow Sterling to continue to progress after the performances he's put in the last month or so.
So we're discussing the option from Assaidi, Aspas and Borini are we? Easy! Sell all three and buy someone good
I would add some others such as Coates, Skrtel/Agger, Johnson, et but not Allen. We also need to **** the two loanees off. We seriously need more players now, never mind if we get European football.
