Joel Asoro is almost certain to miss Sunderland’s clash with Derby on Friday evening and will be a major doubt for Monday’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday, after picking up a suspected concussion while on international duty.

Fletcher is, I am certain, better than Joselu! You should all thank god for not having that piss poor excuse of a striker playing in your team!

Doesn't matter who's in or out the result is always the same. Roll on next season and the return of the Dunc.

I hope im wrong but i dont think Dunc will have much of a career in footy now. Hes missed out on 2 years of development and mentally and physically he'll never be the same after 2 cruciate injuries.

Maybe not aye although fingers crossed same as you. There didn't look to be an issue mentally after his first return but after two long breaks it would probably be different.

The fact that others have come through after long lay off's will give Duncan hope, and he is a tough character who will do everything possible to return, I'm sure every Sunderland supporter will be willing the lad to succeed.

The fact that he's 22 and he has missed 2 years of development is a big blow to him. His pace will never be the same now either, which was his main attribute. Every time I think of him Fraiser Campbell springs to mind and how his career ended up.

Big loss. Do I think that he’d score a hat trick and we’d win? No, but the lad works and works, and giving players like him as much game time this year is the only positive that I can think of this season.
