I agree but he'll survive the 1st few culls and there's no point making it more difficult for struggling players.. I was anti Ashley, but I'm not going to get after players that I need to play well in order to enjoy my weekend

Don’t regard them as even members of first team squad, although Fernandes I would keep and Woodman.

There were several games he played very well in.. Leeds home man united home for example... Scored vs saints early in the season... Pundits were talking about how fantastic he was... People do forget... Joelinton took years of **** from the same arseholes and he's now feeding them his ring juice. He played poorly yesterday like the rest.

I'm fully aware max isn't playing well, but I also know for a fact that he can be a very good player, so I'd like to back him more than tear him apart just now.

I'm firmly fixed on bullying Lascelles and then after I've dealt with him I'll move on up the list.

He was, we want better players and that's it.

Who gives a **** if Chris Wood or Jacob Murphy gets upset by it.

Nufc fans would rather go after max or maybe Wilson for being injured to much. Dubs is getting it too get Darlow got his arse licked. Bruno was poor yesterday, but that's OK... Joelinton poor, but maybe they got sick of bullying him?

It's just something I've never understand and it's probably why nufc haven't won anything for 67 years.

I know i don't get our fans at times, having a go at Max ahead of Murphy and co is just crazy talk.

Even when Max has a quiet game he is still far more dangerous than most other players.

I can understand their frustration with max he's not playing well, but he was without doubt our best player under Bruce this season. I remember fans licking his arse and pumping out the stats that showed we tended to lose if he wasn't playing.

I also remember fans bullying Joelinton and then turning up in brasil shirts licking his arse clean without saying sorry.

I still believe max can come good and I will never believe Murphy ever will

I'm prepared to have him as our starting left winger next season and see what happens, we need a new right winger as Fraser is best on the left anyway and can be back up.

I'm keen to see how things go when Max has better players around him.

People love to jump in with both feet too soon and often end up being proved completely wrong ( they never acknowledge it in most cases)

Not long ago fans said Joelinton wasn't even a footballer and not long ago fans said nufc hadn't done enough in January.

We will find out if what max said was right next season. If he fails at least I won't have made the job more difficult for him by piling on bile and pressure at the wrong time. I'll save that for Lascelles because he's never demonstrated to me that he's got the ability.

You've also got to consider that neither Almiron nor Wood are a threat. It's all going to come from him, the opposition deliberately close him down early. Watch what they do when Almiron or Wood is on the ball - they just defend naturally, it's when it goes to ASM that they make a concerted effort to shut him down early. We have no threat up top, none on the right and there's nobody in between the lines making a difference. We have our six offensive players in a big circle with a huge gap in the middle - getting Wood to drop into that gap is like asking Fraser to play in goal.

The minute Wilson came on we looked far better. OK we ****ed up the last 4 minutes, but Wilson knows what he's doing and im afraid wood does not.. He's just a warhorse and he's served his purpose.. Howe will continue to say he's been outstanding, but I think he knows what he is and isn't.

Wood is comfortably in the top 3. Burn is about 8 places too low down. He's a lower mid-table CB at best. He's done well, but is constantly at fault for goals. Not as much as Lascelles, but he's up there. At least two of City's five, Chelsea, Everton, all Burn's fault. Far more so than Dubravka has been. Schar, for all he makes errors, he doesn't actually cost goals.

That said, I wouldn't be looking to shift any of Bruno, Burn, Trippier, Targett, Joe, Wilson, Fraser, Willock (you missed both of these in your list), Max, Schar or even Dubs right now. Howe's given a new deal to Longstaff (inexplicably) so probs isn't going anywhere. Dummett the same.

For me it's Wood, Shelvey, Lascelles, Krafth, Darlow, Hayden, Gayle, Lewis, Clark, Murphy, Ritchie out ASAP and AT LEAST five first team players brought in. That list is eleven players, but only 4 or 5 are playing and none should be. Then you've got to recruit well and bring in at least 6, maybe even a free transfer or a loan as well. Anderson being promoted also helps, as well as potentially Turner-Cooke, De Bolle and Joe White (thanks to DPP for inside knowledge) Those four lads take the dead space, and hey presto a squad capable of top 6 awaits.

You don't have to tell me, mate. Wood is supposed to be good in the air or at holding the ball up, yet has scored one header and missed at least three sitters from great crosses. He wins **** all in challenges and has got so progressively worse you have to check if he's actually 41 not 31 and didn't win a Pepsi Max competition. Absolutely dreadful player and 100% he was the focus of Max's criticism. What was hilarious was Max was then right.

I wouldn't mind so much if Wood did something else (like Rondon). But he doesn't. He's the weakest carthorse of a player I've ever seen, he's so easy to get off the ball. And the less said about his touch the better.

Again, I'm with this - 6'7" tall yet just doesn't win many headers. It's almost mystifying how few headers he wins. He's had some great games and does leave it all on the field, but there's just a limit on his ability. I sure as **** would't be building my defence around him - I'd be more inclined to put someone strong and solid beside him instead. I just think Schar's the better of the two.
