So, a typical blue then If the roles were reversed, I wouldn't give a **** about you guys, i'd only want my team to do whats best for us; win! You can throw the local rivalry comment at me too if you like, but I'd say exactly the same no matter who it was. My team is all that matters, couldn't give a **** about anyone else.
"Will be all but gone" is that your ridiculous way of saying it is still mathematically possible? And wtf do you know about Everton btw? Are you saying if they go a goal down they'll just roll over? Have you been watching the PL this season? Everton will want to win this game, even if there was nothing to play for. Martinez has done City with Wigan, he's got a far superior squad and there is more pressure on City than Everton, it may play a part. There is no way Everton are going into this game at anything less than 100% looking for 3 points. Any thoughts otherwise are delusional on your part or at the least wishful thinking
I disagree about the atmosphere. Goodison at it's best is an intimating arena, especially when the 'big sides' come to town, and usually for the visit of City it'd be rocking, we'll see what it's like on Saturday night. If City play like they did at the Etihad they'll beat us anyway, as they've been the best side we've faced this season imo. We'll be missing Barry as well don't forget.
I'm really not arsed about it tbh. As personally I hate the Sunday league games and the competition itself is of little interest to anyone until the last 8.
Liverpool have been there a few times when Man Utd have needed a favour from us, I wanted us to win on each occasion Always said I want to see Everton do well so long as its not the the detriment of Liverpool
Same couldn't be said of all of your fanbase or even your playing staff on that score..... Remember Gerrards defence splitting through ball for Drogba???
How did I know you'd mention Gerrard's pass #predictable Fair point about the fanbase, I know I'm not the sole opinion of all Liverpool fans but I suppose the same could apply to you and Everton despite your denial
Yeah I remember it well and the accusations that followed, and also us beating Blackburn on the last day but yoonited not being good enough to beat wet spam, but these things happen in football like Terry' s slip that handed the mancs the CL.
If we get tonked by City on Saturday there'll be hell on, with accusations of us chucking it being thrown about. If that happens the best thing would be if you then dropped points at Palace, and then it'll stop years of bitterness ensuing....
Last day of the season City have to play against West Ham. Big Sam? Who knows Sam Allardyce can go there and perform miracle .Depends on league position of West Ham then.
West Ham aren't mathematically safe yet either although I suspect they will be by the time Man City play them.
I still think West Ham and Big Sam will go there relishing the challenge, regardless of there league position, they just love the challenge of trying to keep a clean sheet against one of the big boys. I think there is no doubt they'll give there all to do it, but I just can't see City being stopped by them for 90 mins particularly at home. Even the one where they managed to stop Chelsea, Chelsea had countless opportunities and could have won by 3 or 4, if they where more clinical. Man City have so many good attacking players, that they'll create opportunities and they won't be as wasteful as Chelsea were
It may come as a surprise after the media **** fest but literally nobody wants you to win the league. Everton are second in the list to United in that respect.
