Sad news to report, Derby winner and sure HIGH CHAPARRAL has been euthanised following colic surgery. He was found to be suffering from a perforated intestine.
 
Thanks Princess. I suspect, like us, you've had to stop a horse from going down until the vet arrives. We rushed one to the hospital once for that exploratory op but luckily we got there in time. An hour later and we would have lost her. Horrible thing colic; can be a bloody nightmare and, in poor HC's case, a tragedy.
