I personally love how many Liverpool fans are confident we will get hammered and keep going on about how **** we are. Especially when you consider we've had one of our worst ever starts in the league and Liverpool one of their better starts and there is still only a MASSIVE 3 points between us
Calm down. You seem more angry about United's poor performance than United fans themselves... If we are performing poorly then being top of the group (so far) is not bad. When we do get it together then we'll be there or thereabouts..
Oh well. If we do lose then it was expected by all any way. If we win (which i fully expect) then it would be a huge boost to the team. If there was any silver lining to that lack lustre performance in Europe, there should more hard work, and no complacency this Sunday. And yes for all the awful start to a premiership ever by United, we are 2 and 3 points from Chelsea and City the favourites to win the title. Not bad eh?
Don't go down the aggression route Rufflad. You know it's not good for the old blood pressure. And it's Arsenal you're playing, not West Ham
You've all clearly forgotten the season before last when you'd have finished top four if the oppostion goal keepers hadn't kept on making saves and your strikers hit the bar or post instead of scoring. Last night was like that eh? Only you had a whole season to moan about. , Only for us it was one game, and our poster wasn't so much saying 'if we hadn't have missed we'd have won' as saying that we did create chances and near misses and so therefore we weren't quite so bad as you lot are, bizarrely given your zero participation in Europe this year, gloating about. We've won the home games and drawn the away games and lost none. So far, very much on course for qualification and that is all that matters. The peformances would need to step up in the knock outs but as it's still the group stage that is not remotely relevant.
I actually like Moyes, which makes me in the minority for neutrals apparently, but I think he made a mistake when he was so critical of diving. It sets an impossible standard to stick to and can only attract more criticism of players and the club. Young's definitely the worst diver in the league but it's a bigger part of the game than people seem willing to accept. How often do you see players stumble these days? 90% of the time as soon as a player feels impeded they go down, if you want to take a moral high ground about it then you have to make sure all your players are trying to stay on their feet whenever possible which will cost you decisions and points. And while you're at it stop players appealing for corners/goal kicks/throw ins when they know they're wrong if you find cheating so morally reprehensible.. oh and no cynical fouling either, that's cheating too. That or you can be realistic and just hope when players try and buy decisions by falling they get the decision like Young did. It was a ridiculous decision though, shame on the ref.
Whats not to like.. The taste or what it does to you? I think when we get dicked by arsenal on sunday, you should get twatted on alcopops then come on here and amuse us all with your drunk ramblings.
