hes a good cb but he can't play football is my point ! he does a job but needs replacing if we are to move forward in my opinion. rafa can **** off he's not here id rather play clark than dummet all day long because he's a more rounded player
yes he's done well in a side that plays attack vs defence , but I'm saying he cannot play where Willems play and we should sign Willems. More than capable on the ball at centre back is wor Paul. Not a left wing back and should never be played there as so far removed from his natural game. Capable at left back but not his best position. Fantastic as a left sided centre back in a back three. Indeed in him and Clark I think we are well set there. When you consider we also have Schar, Lascelles (who is another you've done down in the past and is presently performing superbly), Fernandez and Lejeunes - we have no less than 6 central defenders who are quality PL options. You use the phrase "he's had some good games at cb". Good games? He has been stellar at centre back for a sustained period of time. If you'd actually watch us instead of relying on the teletext you'd know this. This reeks of "I think foreigners are better than home grown options". You are simply being seduced by Willems nationality. He's a good player who I'd like us to sign because he is good competition at left wing for Ritchie which we haven't had for a number of years. Not sure what the price is but I hope we sign him on. To say you've never rated Dummett is strange given he was one of the top performers regularly under Rafa. Are you suggesting Rafa never tried to play football? This is a sea change in your position over the last 12 months. I don't think you could lie straight in bed to be honest.

No we can't. Paul Dummett is a terrific centre back in a back three. We have six very good options there. He is good cover at left back. I will agree we should sign Willems who is also a good player like Dummett. We should want both ideally. What we shouldn't do is negatively do down one player to big another up. Its negative and smells badly of Pennywell.
I don't rate paul dummet! I didn't pre rafa , I admit he can play attack defend very well , but against what I'm aware is popular belief I do not rate him very highly ! sorry that's my opinion , but at least we agree Willems should be signed which was the main reason behind the thread.
I think you need to stick to the non football threads. You are derailing the threads on here with ill informed comments. Paul Dummett is a NUFC legend because he is very talented. End of story. Dummett never runs out of room. He is superb in all defensive situations. As for your plagiarism you'll be pleased to know I won't be taking any action. I don't pick on those who aren't a full shilling.
O Of the things you can level at him, being seduced by overseas players rather than homegrown isn't one of them. He's been pretty clear he's loving see 4 Geordie's in the team. I agree that Willem's is a better LWB, can't comment on if he is a better LB. What I can't agree with is that Dummett is ****e, he's a cracking defender and potentially first name I want to see on team sheet. I would take the team that started the other day but with Dummett in over Clarke and thats not an attack on Clarke either
