I sure do know that mate. No one's questioning whether he has done his part for the club or not, we all know he has played his part in our run last 2 years by managing the club well.
The point of contention here is whether he'll be spending 100m of his own profit through offloading 4% of his stocks, into getting the club players or not.
At best, if he puts money in, he'll consider it a loan to the club. At worst, he isn't even going to put any money FROM his 100m in, not to say the money from the club's income or whatnot...
Point is, he's been known to have been seeking a buyer for NUFC for the past few years and the only reason he's stayed is he didn't feel he was getting enough for what he has put in.
So bottomline, no, I don't see him putting any of his 100m into the club.

Its just another business deal from Ashley really and he's proved pretty astute at those,

The Toon is just another business for him too and as such he won't want to f*k it up,

I imagine a portion of it went into this "@SteveGardnerITV: Mike Ashley's Sports Direct has bought 114 stores from administrators of fashion chain Republic "

Doesn't make sense to link £100m Ashley has made as a private individual from sale of stock, with a big purchase his company has made of material assets. The stock sale means Ashley now has an extra £100m in cash in the bank. Wouldn't surprise me if he used it to add another business to his portfolio.

A good buy from him. Expect to see more people wearing Lonsdale now.
