Needs 2 teams to make a contest.....sadly you just know aus will not fumble their 2nd innings, like Perth, and will put up some fight unlike our bunch of charlatans and it'll all be over quicklyThis series is fast turning into a complete farce.
A combination of terrible English preparation, poor quality pitches and sloppy play all round rendering it laughable.
Supporters on both sides have paid large sums of money to attend and are being served up utter dross.
The Ashes now seems to be the dying embers of an unfashionable format of the game. It's a shame.
Think I'd like to see Rob Key go most of all.All the talk coming into the Ashes was this is the best chance we have blah blah blah, Aussies are the worst team in years blah blah blah, sadly our batting line up is embarassing, a shambolic game plan, injury blighted players being taken, and subsequently injured again, a spinner chosen and avoided, it all stinks of amateurish prep and mentality. If this doesn't prompt a total rethink about how we apply ourselves in the five day game nothing will.
I know I am pissed off because I have tickets for the Third day, hoping for rain tomorrow !This series is fast turning into a complete farce.

Well, the end result could be respectable but not the manner of it.Well that's a pleasant surprise! Shocker of a test match pitch left it a bit of a lottery, like Perth, add to that a decimated aus bowling line up and am incredible first win in 14 years, genuine opportunity to repeat that in Sydney and come away with a very respectable end result
At least I get my money back, but was looking forward to the banter and searching for City supporters
