So there we ha e it, but for a weather effected draw it would have been 5-0, I say again big changes required, poor selections, poor batsmen, poor tactics, poor captain, poor coach, and this Aussie team aren't even in the top ten of Australian teams we've faced but pushed as aside like a schoolyard bully. Pathetic !
They really need to look now at the bedrock of the county game, which has been pushed to one side because of these shorter versions of the game. Test players can only get used to playing in the right conditions if games are played on good pitches and at the time of the year that gives the best chance of good weather. Thankfully, the 2022 season will be played mostly in mid-summer, which is a start, but there needs to be a radical rethink of how we move forward with the red ball game.

It's ironic that in T20 our **** bowlers don't back up our batters and in Test Match Cricket our **** batters don't back up our bowlers.
Not that he could do anything about the pies going down (apart from his own) but with Ali as captain this is hardly surprising. The same bloke who oversaw a defeat at home to Ireland a couple of years ago. I'm sure he's a good bloke as all his teammates say, but a captain he is not

doesn't work, alas. the one-day batters want to be in and out in as short a time as possible and those that have been elevated to the test side have proved it. the ashes tour was so bad because there were none of the usual warm-up games and many of them hadn't played any first-class for months.
wow, that's gone to the wire. it's being described as "easily the best test match of women's cricket history". impressive effort in the fourth innings, considering they needed more than five an over.
See our quick bowlers have gone for lots of runs again in the T20 finale. Jordan, Topley& Mahmood leaked 122 runs from 10 overs whilst the 3 spinners have bowled 10 overs for 54.
Not sure Mahmood or Jordan are going to make the world Cup at this rate.
